DUPLICATION OF HAND AND STENCIL COLOURED FILMS
In the case of stencilled films and other systems in which discrete patches of colour are used, the use of colour internegatives is really the only photographic method possible, and achieving a better representation of the original in it's pristine form can only be done by using enhancement of video signals and re-transferring back to film. These digital techniques are not covered in this book.
The procedure for reproducing a copy of a coloured print is exactly the same as for any print duplication using an integral tripack such as Eastman Colour Internegative Film, and is covered in the chapter on the restoration of colour film.
