Per fluorocarbons are being suggested as alternatives to other CFC's for some of the applications. They are clear, colourless, odourless, non-flammable fluids and supposedly have most of the advantages of current fluids used without the ozone depletion disadvantage. These have not been tested, as they are not yet readily available from Zenotron who are proposing to investigate them.
