This printer was the standard motion picture printer used in laboratories until the introduction of the Model C which had mechanical light valves to give automatic light changes. The Model C used a Bell & Howell Punch Tape to make the light changes. The Model D (35mm) and the Model J (16mm) used the information from a hand written card which was transferred to a pre-select lever (see illustration). CUEING METHODS
