CONTROL OF PROCESS

Control of the process is by the processing of Sensitometric wedges regularly. The control department measure the wedges on a densitometer and plots a graph of them. For a process running all day you should run a strip every couple of hours.

Speed Control

You should control the speed of the machine precisely as it determines the development time of the process. You should not rely on any meters giving the speed of the machine; you should regularly check the speed of the machine using a stopwatch and a marked piece of leader.
